Nick and Ema are on a mission to create beautiful spaces for vacation, work, and the arts.
Nick bought his house in 2023 and named it the Nightingale. He has been running it as a short-term rental while making various improvements and adding fun touches – like a life-sized chessboard and a (planned) secret bookcase.
Ema bought the neighbouring house in 2025. She named it the Skylark. She runs her own short-term rental and is slowly preparing the backyard to be turned into a native garden.
Together, Nick and Ema organise retreats and residencies which take advantage of their two adjacent homes.
The Nightingale (built 1925) and the Skylark (built 1957) are two neighboring houses in Richfield, a suburb of Minneapolis.
They are both minutes from the Minneapolis Airport and the Mall of America.
The surrounding area offers lakeside walks, a park with pickleball court, Wolf’s Lodge Water Park and more.
Both houses offer 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms along with all the amenities one might need for a restful and fun stay.
They can be booked together or separately.
